Sentient Staff
For agencies & internal TA teams

Evidencing, without the placement.

This is not a fourth way to fill the role. It is the one piece of that process you can buy on its own: you already have the candidate, we evidence their competence, independently, with the reasoning shown.

What this actually is

We run the same evidencing process we use on our own placements, against a candidate you have already found, sourced by your own team or another agency. No shortlist, no match, no cut of a hire that is not ours to take credit for. You get a written evidence summary mapped to our own competence domains, with the reasoning shown rather than a badge asserted, to put in front of your own hiring committee.

Who this is for: other staffing and recruitment agencies placing AI-adjacent roles who want independent evidencing rather than building the expertise in-house, and internal TA or HR teams sourcing candidates directly who want a credible second opinion before they hire.

Request evidencing

One candidate or several. Tell us what you need evidenced and a person gets back to you directly.

Goes to a person, not a list. Covered by our privacy approach, and the candidate consents before we start, same as any other engagement. Prefer email? hello@sentientstaff.com reaches the same person.

What you get

  • A written evidencing report mapped to our own competence domains (fairness and bias, explainability, privacy, human autonomy and oversight, safety, and accountability, alongside how these domains embed ethics into delivery), not a pass/fail score.
  • Explicit coverage of what a bias-and-privacy checklist tends to skip: whether the candidate can recognise a system designed to feel trustworthy, empathetic, or relational, and reason about what that design does to the people who use it, not just whether the model's outputs are fair.
  • An explicit note of any AIGP or equivalent credential the candidate already holds, and how it was weighed alongside our own evidencing.
  • A plain statement of what could not be evidenced. A gap list is more useful to you than a score that hides one.
  • The same honesty extended to authenticity, not just competence. If something about who a candidate says they are, their identity, their claimed experience, does not hold up under normal professional scrutiny, evidencing stops and we say so directly, rather than issue a competence report on a person we cannot actually vouch for.
  • No ranking against other candidates, ours or yours. A single, independent judgement on the person in front of us.

What it is not

  • Not a guarantee of outcome, and not us placing anyone or taking a fee if you go on to hire them.
  • Not something we will do without the candidate's consent. They are told who is asking and why before we start.

Already have someone in mind?

Tell us who needs evidencing and we will scope a fixed fee, usually in the first reply.
